Skills

The biggest thing that I've learned in the past 6 months of being an entrepreneur is skill acquisition is a by-product of the project you start working on. It's easy to fall into the trap of trying to learn skills for the sake of learning skills, but if you can't find the vehicle to apply them, then they will rot and eventually go to waste.

When you have a project in mind, you create a space where you get to learn by doing completely on the fly. The skills that you learn will be in some ways unpredictable. At least for me, this is where I am able to learn the best. Watching courses, tutorials, and YT videos has some merit but it's not sustainable in the long term.

It's all about letting your project drive your learning. You don't sit down and say, "I'm going to learn these ten skills." Instead, you jump into a project and figure it out as you go. Your project becomes this kind of compass, pointing you towards what you need to know next. And the cool thing is, you're using these skills right away. There's no time for them to get rusty – you're applying them the moment you learn them.

Entrepreneurship is a never-ending process of being thrown into the deep end. You adapt fast because you have to. It's not about trying to know everything, it's about picking up exactly what you need for your journey. And trust me, you'll surprise yourself with what you end up learning.
